Erris is at the Western edge of Europe Located in north west Mayo, Erris is a special land of wild, unspoilt beauty, which is steeped in heritage, tradition and adventure.

The region boasts some of the finest cliff scenery in Ireland with Broadhaven Bay to the north and the wild Atlantic to the west. This is a land with many secrets which is certain to capture the imagination of those searching for a unique experience, a wide variety of activity and a glimpse at a region steeped in tradition.

Parts of Erris are classified as Gaeltacht, where Irish still survives as a community language. You can observe a rare glimpse of the English language and Irish language coexisting in everything from signposting to shopping.
