Manx - Isle of Man

Póg mo Cajón is the fusion of two bands from the Isle of Man. This combination
results in an exciting mix of traditional musicians with that of the exuberance of
youth resulting in a fresh rendition with a rich full sound. The music is a balance of
Manx traditional and original music in traditional style along with Manx Gaelic song
and dance.
Tá ceangal láidir idir an Ghaeilge agus Gaeilg na hAlba, ach maraon leis, tá gaol
láidir le Gaeilge Mhainnin freisin. Seo í an chéad uair ag Féile Iorrais ina mbeidh an
trí chraobh seo den Ghaeilge le cloisteáil agus go mbeidh an meascán idir an trí
tradisiún le cloisint i nGaeltacht Mhaigh Eo.

Póg mo Cajón will play on Iniskea (weather permitting) as part of the trip on Saturday July 26th. They will also play that night in Ionad Deirbhle, Eachleim. Póg mo Cajón will paly the final event of Iorrais 2008 in Paddy Lavelle,s Corclough West on the afternoon of Sunday July 27th following the Eco walk on Erris Head.
