Island Life: the islands of Ireland
Images of the islands surrounding Ireland’s coastline are the subject of the National
Photographic Archive (NPA) exhibition entitled Island life. This exhibition features a
number of different locations, but concentrate predominantly on Achill Island, the
Aran Islands, Valentia and the Blasket Islands. Also included are a small number of
inland lake islands such as Station Island on Lough Derg.
