Arts Policy

Feile Iorras is committed to the provision of Quality Artistic Endeavor in all it's operations for the people of Erris.

Feile Iorras is a community based organization and therefore community involvement and interaction is a core value of Feile Iorras.

The policy specifies

a) That the festival at all times provides quality artistic events

b) That innovative Artistic effort is encouraged

c) That the community benefits from a qualitative interaction with artistic events in the festival

d) That the festival will promote the arts via workshops, concerts, competitions etc.

e) That International Folk Arts is the main element of the main festival

f) That local groups and communities be encouraged to participate in all events
